My great great grandfather, Charles Alexander Pabst came to the U.S. from the port in Hamburg, Germany in 1862. He arrived in New York, New York in December of 1862 alone with no other relatives aboard the same ship. His death certificate states his father was Fredrick Pabst, but unknown mother. In census records he stated his parents were both born in Saxony, Germany. I have had no luck of finding any other information of siblings, parents or family members from Germany. Any help is appreciated.
