I know that James Miller Sr, his son James along with Bashams, Kincaids were in Campbell Co. about 1808. James was my gggggrandfather and the others were married into the family. A daughter Jane married in TN and died there. No idea who she married. One son, Thomas went to MO with the rest of the family in 1818. Anyone with info about their time in Campbell County may contact me. I have more tham 2500 Millers in my tree already but more would be appreciated.

Is this the same Miller family? James' father was Frederick Miller. James was born in Wilkes Co. NC in 1790, married Nancy Ramsey in 1818, died 1864 in KY? My ancestor David Miller was James' younger brother. He married Elizabeth Hatfield and my g-g-grandfather Job Miller was born in Campbell Co. TN in 1825. They moved to Indiana around 1832, but David went on to Missouri after Elizabeth died. Another sibling was Mary Ann Miller, who married Andrew Hatfield. They went on to Putnam Co. MO, too. Are we related? Rebecca

Don't think so. My James came from a line of James Millers who started with a John who was in VA in 1743. We were in MO by 1820. I don't know of any of our family who came from your area. But don't give up. Yours are out there somewhere!!
