Looking for a Sam Wells who lived around Wilkinson County, MS. I believe he could be the son of Samuel Levi Wells, II, from Rapids Parish, LA. Any info would be appreciated.

I have very little info about my Wells side of the house. However, I do have a book about the Wells family in Rapides Parish, LA. My Wells came from Samuel Levi Wells, II. Willis Wells (and I believe he was named Samuel also, but can't find proof) was my gggrandfather. He left Rapides Parish and went to Wilkinson Co. MS and his daughter my gg grandmother married Robert Reily Richardson. Samuel Levi Wells, II was married twice and his first wife died leaving him with two sons, my Wellis and Rudolph Wells. The Wells book touches very litte on these two boys. I would love to know more about my Wellis Wells. I did get a copy of a family bible that shows a Sam Wells died in Wilkinson Co. MS and that is the only trace I have of him and that is why I think his name was also Samuel since he was the first born to Samuel Levi Wells, II. Hope this helps some. ej
