Looking for information on Albert Pierson Died 1860?
and his son James Albert Pierson. James fought in the civil war from McHenry County in the Ill 95th and 47th with his brother Schuyler. James was born in Ithaca NY in 1848 and shows up in the 1860 Census with Albert from McHenry County, Chemung Twp., Harvard pg 294-295

Schuyler Pierson is my 2nd great grandfather and his father Albert Pierson my 3rd GG.

Albert Pierson was born in Ithaca, NY on 7/1/1813 and died 9/19/1860 in Chicago, according to Anonymous on this Board.

My own research shows that Albert's parents were Jubal Pierson and Martha Duryea Pierson, who lived in the Ithaca, New York area. This line goes back to Henry Pierson who came to the Colonies in 1639 and settled in Southampton, NY. The book, Pierson Millenium, available from Heritage Books, is an excellent source for our line from Henry to Albert.
