Seeking descendants of Viebrock family who sold freehold in early 1900's in Hanover-Bremen-Bremerhaven area. My grandfather, Francis John Viebrock (1867-1935), in California, received papers that are now lost. My great grandfather, Claus Ludwig Viebrock (b. 4 Dec 1832 Germany, died 20 Nov 1885 Calif) is immigrant. Claus married Amalia Elise Fick in California. Claus had possible brother Peter. Where was freehold? Who are Claus's family? Thank you, Bill Viebrock

If you scroll down the previous messages, there is a message by Ingo Viebrock dated Jan. 9, 2001 and in it he mentions a Claus Ludwig Viebrock. Perhaps he knows some info you could use. Try to e-mail him directly by clicking on his name to find his e-mail address. Good luck!
