Becker is one of the most common surnames in Saarland, so that could be tough...

I have a Jakob Becker in my tree. He was born some time before 1660 in Ensdorf (not far from Schwarzenholz) and died on 15/01/1734 in Ensdorf. His parents were Kurt Becker (ca. 1620-1666) and Entgen Rupp (ca. 1620-1685).

By the way: Kölln, Etzenhofen and Sellerbach are all parts of Köllerbach, which is now a part of Püttlingen, Regionalverband Saarbrücken (formerly Landkreis Saarbrücken).

I have Becker relative from Saarbruken that left Germany in 1845. Christian Friedrich Wilhelm Becker (born abt. 1822) He settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana and after arriving from Germany married Wilhelmina Foellinger(born abt 1822) from Karlsbrunn, Saarland, Germany (not far from Saarbruken. She had a brother Jacob that also came to Indiana and later died in Chicago, Illinois.

Looking to find additional links and relatives for both.

No, sorry, I don't have them in my database, and I haven't found them on geneanet.org or gedbas.genealogy.net either.

Becker is one of the most common surnames in Saarland, so it could be tough finding the right one...

I also googled Wilhelmina/Wilhelmine Foellinger/Föllinger/Fellinger/Voellinger/Völlinger/Vellinger, and all I found was this:
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/igi/individual_record...
Johanna Friederica Wilhelmina Fellinger, born in Aachen 04/21/1823, daughter of Johann Jacob Fellinger and Anna Christina Wildenstein

And this:
http://gedbas.genealogy.net/datenblatt.jsp?nr=1016286709
Johanna Friederika Wilhelmine Fellinger, born in Aachen, married Friedrich Wilhelm Heinrich Richard Trostorff of Vaals on 05/30/1849

That's probably not your Wilhelmina. Though the dates are similar, and Aachen was in the Rhine Province of Prussia, too.

Added information and corrections.

Christian Becker b. abt 1822 came to America and Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1846 according to the obituary of his wife Wilhelmine Foellinger who came from Karlsbrunn, Germany. Christian came from Saarbrucken (or the surrounding area. It appears that they may have know each other prior to coming to America (to be confirmed) as their towns were near each other. Trying to determine if they came on the same ship together.

I cannot confirm the middle names of Christian Becker as previously reported. So, ignore the Fredrich Wilhelm. Christian Becker is such a common name.

Wilhelmine came with her brother John (Johann) Martin Foellinger. It appears she had an other brother (Jacob) that proceeded her in death and travels to America in 1836.

Wilhelmine may have been born Sophie Katharina Wilhelmine Fellinger (Foellinger, Follinger or Fallinger).

Thanks so much. There does seem to be entries with similar history between Foellinger, Fellinger, Follinger and Fallinger.

Wilhelmine came from Karlsbrunn, Germany and wonder if there is a resource in the area with more precise historical information and records to confirm actual names and dates as well as relationships and spellings.
