We, the descendants of Thomas Carey (late 1700's} are seeking information about him. We know that he came to the Nicholson, Wyoming County area with at least two of his sons; Earl Holly Carey (namesake of lake Carey) and Ransler Carey. They came here from Fishkill, Dutchess County, NY. Our biggest roadblock seems to be his wives. If anyone can help us with this family it would be greatly apprieciated. We have much info to share.

I have a book "NICHOLSON.....the first two hundred years".
It has a picture of a Tom Carey in it. It is a picture of a Hand Car of D. L. & W. Railroad in 1860, there are 5 men on it.
