There doesn't seem to be a Kelly in the Carbon Co. Cem. book that matches precisely to yours. A "J" Kelly died 17 Aug 1924 (b. 13 Aug 1854) and a John Thomas is listed as 1883 - 1944, next to Nellie E., Ed Thurston

In those early years (1919 could still be part of the big flu epidemic), there were many with unmarked graves. Not all deaths were recorded in the county, either. You might try writing to the Co. courthouse (address is on Co. MTGenWeb site) to see if they have a death record.

Trying to find info on my G. Grandfather, he moved to Red Lodge (Carbon County) in about 1898. He passed away between then and 1919. I believe in Red Lodge, he worked for the R.R. I have been told. I am looking for the date of death on
John F. Kelly.
Thank You

I have a relative in my family but it is John E. Kelly. The reason I am contacting you is that my aunt wrote a book about the Kelly family ( our relations) In it I have the names Maude (Kelly) Birman who married Edwin Birman and had 2 children Florence and Dorothy - are these relatives? Maude was a sister to my great grandfathers second wife Florence.
Does this ring any bells?
