My records show Elijah as Jacobs son, and Elijah was marrried to Nancy Sallie Mayhorn. Heres an artical I found that should be intersting to you
The Fogles were a numerous and respectable family. They were natives of Virginia, but came here from Washington County, Pa. There were three brothers Jacob, Michael and Peter who settled in the same neighborhood. Jacob and Michael came first, and a year or two later Peter settled on the farm where he lived and died. He came about 1818. He was the first Justice of the Peace in the Township, and held the Office about twenty years. He was also an active member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He died in 1875, at the age of eighty-nine. The Fogle brothers were all married before they came to Ohio. Jacob lived and died in Noble Township. His son Jacob still lives here. He and Mrs. Mary Merry Caldwell, are the only children of Jacob Fogle now living in the County. Michael moved from Noble Township to Enoch and died there. He left no family. Peter Fogle was twice married. His first wife was Elizabeth Salliday, and their children were Mary, Eliza, Sarah and Margaret, all living, the oldest two in this County. For his second wife he married Phebe Stevens. Their children were Rachael (Rucker), who lives on part of the homestead; John, Illinois; Lucretia, Kansas; Anna, Dead; Annary, Vinton County, Ohio; James, Colorado; George, Kentucky and Peter, Caldwell. Peter lived on the farm until 1879, and then engaged in Hotel keeping in Caldwell. Since 1880 he has been in the business of Undertaker and Furniture Dealer in Caldwell, owning a large and fine store. He has a German Bible, printed in 1590, which has been in the Fogle Family nearly three hundred years.

Thanks John. I need all the help i can get. I'm just becoming familiar with this family. I'd like any information you're willing to share. I come from Elijah's son Luther L. and Hannah Graham Fogle. I'm really looking for information on him. I've had quite a bit of help on other Fogle's but not much known about Luther. I'm willing to share anything i might have that you'd like. Thanks!

John We may have corresponded before. Always have thought there was some type of link of our Hamilton ancestry with Fogles, but no known link.
Have a Word document of various Fogle inputs. If you would like to see, will be glad to e-mail.
Our gggf John Hamilton was born in Washington County PA ~1815.
The 1850 Morgan County census data for John Hamilton stated:
John Hamilton, age 36, born PA, occupation teamster Wife, Mary, age 32, born VA(not designated W.VA at that time) Daughter, Mahala, age 10, born Ohio Daughter, Anna age 8, born Ohio Son, John D., age 2, born Ohio Also in their household: John G. Fogle, age 24, born Ohio, occupation butcher Rebecca Fogle, age 18, born VA
Marriage records for Morgan County showed a John Fogle married Rebecca Jane Robinson May 9th 1850. This is of interest since the 1902 obituary stated that Mary Robinson had been previously married and had a daughter Rebecca Robinson. That obituary also said that Mary Robinson had two other daughters, Martha, and a Mrs. King(first name unknown). The obit stated that Mary was 11 years older than John at the time of their marriage. Rebecca was still in their household in 1860, but not John Fogle.
Also, seems a McKee lived close to Hamiltons in Morgan County.

another piece of data
In the book, Biographical and Historical Memories of Muskingum County Ohio, published 1892, there is reference to John and Rebecca Hamilton Fogle.
In that reference they had a son, John W Fogle, born 15 Nov 1850. It also states that the father, John, died in 1860, and the mother, Rebecca died in 1863.
The book also states their son John Fogle married Jennie Allen. In the 1900 census of Columbus, Franklin Co OH, there are John W Fogle, age 49, wife Jennie, age 45, and daughter age 17. LDS records show Alice Angie Fogle born 1 May 1883 in Salt Creek, Muskingum Co OH.
