I am trying to find information on my great uncle Orman Boyce who left Barbados to work on the Panama Canal. I don't know his birth date or what year he left, but I know his father's name was Thomas Goodridge Boyce from Barbados and Orman had three brothers - Elder, William and James Boyce, and three sisters - Helena, Hortense and Wilhemina Boyce. I believe Elder (my grandfather), was his youngest brother and he was born 15 Aug 1895. If you know of any Boyces who originated from St Lucy, in Barbados I would appreciate hearing from you.

I was just trying to briefly research my family history. I am a "Boyce" and my father's family orginates from St. Lucy, Barbados. I have also been told that my great-grandmother was originally from Panama. I don't kknow all the details, but I am sure some of my other family members would. Do you have any information you could share from the Boyce side of the family? My grandmother was the daughter of Orman Boyce who emigrated to Panama and had six children there. Any information woud be appreciated.

I am loking for my father - Tony Boyce - whose father was also in Panama (although I do not know his name). Tony would be in his early to mid 60s by now?

I was told he was in Barbados in 1970, but that he went to New Jersey or therabouts in the next year or so.
