Searching for the family of Eliza Elizabeth Boone, born 1836, Rankin County, Mississippi. First married James Henry Hensley; second married John Wesley Brummett; third married J.W. Dodson. She was an early pioneer of Jack County, Texas and died there 1928. Any information is appreciated.

I read your message and it caught my eye. I have recently uncovered information of my ancestors and one of them being "Elizabeth J. Boone". She was born on July 22, 1826 in Rankin County, Miss. I believe she was the daughter of William H. (Billy) Boone and Rebecca Ferriday. Let me know if there is a connection please as I am doing recearch on my past also. Thanks & good luck.

Thanks Bert. This Eliza Elizabeth Boone was the daughter of Thomas Boone and Louisa Morris. In the 1840 Rankin County, MS census, Thomas Boone is living next to William Boone and an unidentified Elizabeth Boone. She appears to be a widowed head of household and not the same Elizabeth that was William Boone's daughter. Confusing. Yes, I believe that there is a relationship; but I am not sure if Thomas was a son or a nephew of old William Boone

According to my families records her name was Elizabeth Louisa Boone born Feb. 22, 1836 and died in Jacksonboro, TX May 22, 1928 of Pneumonia. she had three children with John Brummett. I'm a decedent of the youngest Lizzie Ellen Brummett Edmondson
