Looking for ancestors of John Bond who married Penelope Whittington, of whom dau. Lacy J Bond married Charles G Sanders

Did you know that John Bond's great-grandfather is supposed to be buried in Stone County?

The only decendant of John/Penelope that I have in my files at the moment is Lacy Bond. She married Henry Breland in 1889, had 3 children before he died in 1899. Then in 1903, she married Charles Gordon Sanders, and had three more children, the eldest of which was my grandmother.

Please note I'm moving and the paper files are already in transit, and my internet connection will be out until Sept 18th.

According to my records, John's father was Elisha Bond, B. 1796 GA, died 1865 Covington Co., MS. Mother was Nancy Philadelphia Batson, b 1/4/1800 in GA, died 11/29/1875 in Harrison Co., MS. Elisha and Nancy Philadelphia married on 1/1/1819 in Covington Co., MS. They had 8 children.

Elisha's father was Col. John Bond, b. abt 1770 in NC, died 1862 in MS, married Adelphia Batson, b. 8/31/1772, NC, died 1819. They were married 8/19/1793 in Burke Co., GA.

I'd love to have the descendent information for John and Penelope if you'd be willing to share.

Thanks for the list of Elisha Bond/Martha Peneolpe Whittington children. How many of them were born in what would later become Stone County? Lacy's first daughter by her second marriage was born in what became Harrison county in 1903.

I am searching for Marmaduke O'Neal who died in Lamar County
Texas about 1842.He married Nancy Davis and had a son John
W O'Neal born about 1838 Lamar Co Texas and served in the Civil War.Don't know anthing about Marmaduke except on all of J W census record's his list his father's birth as Missippi
