great to hear from you Scott. our association is a non-profit assiciation dedicated to preserving our family heritage for future generations. we have had an annual reunion someplace in the USA since 1948. we have a quarterly family newsletter, send me your mailing address and i will put you on mailing list. we now have over 65,000 names in our data base but are still missing many pieces. we are adding to them daily. we offer to trade free info. with any family member. our newsletter goes to about 1400 families. let me know if we can help you in your search. cuz ben

mY HUBAND'S GRANDMOTHER WAS A SATTERFIELD, (bERTHA eSTELLE), SHE DIED AT THE AGE OF 24 AND ONE OF HER ONLY TWO DAUGHTERS DIED WHEN SHE WAS 14. MY TWO DAUGHTERS HAVE A CONNECTIVE TISSUE DISORDER, (THEIR DAD DIED WHEN HE WAS ONLY 38 FROM ANEURYSM IN BRAIN). THEY HAVE WHAT IS CALLED A SPLIT UVULA OR BIFID UVULA. LONG TALL LANKY BEAUTIFUL STRAWBERRY BLONDES. WE BELIEVE THIS HAS COME FROM THEIR GREAT GRANDMOTHER, SHE MARRIED A WOODALL... ANYTHING ELSE LIKE THIS IN ANY OF SATTERFIELD LINE. I CAN'T FIND INFO ABOUT WHO HER PARENTS MIGHT HAVE BEEN SHE WAS FROM NORTH GA... THEIR CONDITION LOEY'S DIETZ ANEURYSM SYNDROME

I Steven it is great to hear from you. Our association was founder by A.Y. Satterfield of Idaho.His children Homer and Jack and sister Lucille Beem were all very active in ts growth.
