Dodd and his father and brothers and all came to the Trotters area about 1900 and homesteaded here. The 1915 drought forced him to leave, he had six children born here. Delphia was grnadma's name. They all came here by wahon train. Grandpa bought a 24 foot covered wagon from a sheephearder that he left there in, some went west and some went south, it was a seven year or more drought.
