Jean Hamon associated in Gaspe fisheries with John-Helier Dumaresq, 1810. Another Jean Hamon, born Sark C1804, m Jane DesRaux, 1861, issued son Francois-Jean Hamon, born Canada 1861, and daughter Alice-Jane 1862-1866. Jean Hamon associated in Gaspe fisheries with P. Mauger & N. LeCouvet, retired home to the Channel Islands C1877, poss Guernsey. Jean Hamon is a common name in Sark.
