I am trying to prove a theory that the following Albert Thrun is the brother of my 3great grandfather Herman Henry Thrun. If you have any info on this family please contact me.

Albert THRUN b. 1858 Prussia, Germany and d. 1915. he m. abt 1880 to Clara SPLESS b. Jan 1856 Prussia, Germany and d. 14 May 1921 Plato, Kane Co., IL.

Children:

1) Auguste b. abt 1878 Prussia, Germany. she m. 18 Dec 1895 Pingree Grove, Kane Co., IL to Herman RADDE b. abt 1870 Germany.

2) Bertha b. abt 1879 Prussia, Germany.

3) Herman b. 26 Mar 1883 IL. he m. (1) 18 Feb 1903 Kane Co., IL to Mary MARTENS b. abt 1884 IL. and (2) 28 Nov 1907 Kane Co., IL to Ida FISCHER b. abt 1884 IL. their children were named Florence, Alva, Everett, Herman, Rose, willis and Paul.

4) Gustave Albert Wilhelm b. 25 Jan 1885 IL.

5) Johann, John Friedrich Christoph b. 13 Oct 1886 Pingree Grove, Kane Co., IL and d. 1968. he m. 27 Nov 1909 Kane Co., IL to Helma A PETERS b. Jun 1894 IL and d. 1990. their children were Annabell (died as infant), Elnora, Elizabeth, Heneretta, Annabell, Edna, Donald, Dorothy, Darlene, Lavern, Helma and Vera Mae.

6) William C b. 2 Oct 1888 Pingre Grove, Kane Co., IL an dd. 18 Mar 1966. he m. Clara Dopke b. 4 Apr 1892 and d. 22 Sep 1976.

7) Martha b. abt Jul 1890 IL. she m. 7 Mar 1908 Kane Co., IL to Otto Carl VETTERMANN

8) George A b. abt 1906 IL.

9-11) Unknown, but were born and died before 1900.

Thanks! I'll check with the Elgin genealogy society...I know that Albert is related to my family I just can't prove it. I have done a lot of research on him and his family. I'm hoping maybe someone from this line would know more about his parentage.
