Could someone do an obituary lookup for me. They are Bobby Sutphin and Betty Combs Sutphin. Bobby died September 27, 1987 and Betty died June 8, 1993. Thank you for your help. Margaret

I checked the Gainesvill Sun Obituary Archives and there is no one with your name listed. There are fourteen listed in the SS Index but none from Alachua County. Check the SS Index.

I can check on the two obituaries Thursday or Friday, if you still need them. Betty was found in a obituary index which is available online at the Alachua County Library District's website. Bobby wasn't found in the online index, but I can still check for an obituary. I should be able to let you know the results of the search by Friday evening, at the latest.

Oh, Bobby died 27 Sep 1981. That is why he couldn't be found in the online index, which only goes back to about 1986.

Is there anyone who could look up an obituary for me in Alachua Co. Florida. It is for a James T. Sutphin and he died Nov. 12, 2007 in Ohio and all of his relatives live in Florida, so I assume that his obit was put in anewspaper there.
