I worked with a George F. Snyder at the Dallas, TX police dept. from 1958 to 1964. We both were civilian employees, not sworn peace officers. Snyder was older than me. I was 18yr old in 1958 & 24yr old when I left in 1964 to become a deputy sheriff with the Dallas Co. sheriff's dept. Snyder was assigned to the information desk of the records bureau. He and I were friends and visited a lot. He told me had once was a deputy sheriff in the State of Washington. I regret to say that after 1964 I saw less of Snyder. Also, I regret I found this inquiry about him 12 years after it was posted.
