Looking for information concerning Julie Ann GILLETT who married John KNIGHT 01 JAN 1854 ... their son, Frank KNIGHT, married Ida UNKNOWN ... Frank & Ida had 2 daughters 1.) Reatha KNIGHT seems to have married an Unknown BULLINGTON abt. 1917 (??) and 2.) Arlo (spelling) KNIGHT who was unmarried on the 1930 census. I can't seem to find these people on the 1920 census ... would appreciate any extra info please ...

Ida Knight died 7 Aug 1926
John Franklin Knight died 12 Jan 1926

In 1910, Julia Knight was living with Frank and Ida so her husband had already died. I found nothing on the IL State Archive Death records database that shows anything for either John or Julie.

As for the 1920 census, they probably just got missed.

In the 1930 Shelby county census, Reatha is married to Ed Buffington and have two children - Julie and John.

As for the cemetery books, just look on the Shelby county ILGenWeb site. There should be a link to the Genealogical Society. I'm sure they have books for sale. If you don't want to purchase them, then look on the look-up page on the Shelby county site. If you can't find someone doing look-ups for the cemetery records, contact me off-list and I'll check with my local library.
