Am searching for any information pertaining to the above couple whom resided in Hanover Twp., Beaver Co., Pa., from 1800-1815. They then relocated to Guernsey Co., Ohio in 1815 until death. They had 10 children that dispersed to Indiana, Illinois,Iowa and Ohio

I think there may be come connection between George that you mentioned, and my wife's ancestor John Clyde Beal. John Clyde was supposedly raised by a relative, and from what I've heard, this was in Ohio. He was married to Victoria Elliot and moved to Dallas, TX. They had one child, John Clyde Beal Jr who married Ruth Gieseke. Do you have any information to confirm a connection? Thanks in advance for any info.

Dear Darrell: If you can narrow down, or approximate the years involved for this man, I maybe of assistance. Based on your information, I would say that it is probable there is a connection there! Thanks for responding, Todd

I am also researching the above Beals. My records show George as having 11 children. I am desended from Isaac. I have George b.1760;d 1809; Nancy b 1782,d 1854. These are the only dates that I have. I do have further info. on Isaac however. Please e-mail me , and we can maybe fill in some blank spaces in the family tree.

Mary, I am interested in corresponding with you as I have been trying to find information on George Beal and Nancy Sparks. Pulling things together on my end will take a little time, but I think that I have some things to offer. I believe that Nancy Sparks is the daughter of Captain Sparks who was in the Revolutionary War. I am decended through Elias Beal 1804-1851 and Reuben Beal 1827-1901. Please contact me at kinserg@intrepid.net Thanks, Glenn

Darrel,
I'm researching the family of George R Beal. Going through my grandfather's papers, I found 2 photos of a Clyde Beal (listed on the back as his cousin). One of them is a photo of Clyde, his wife Vicky, my great grandfather Charles C Beal, great grandmother Nora Dixon Beal, my grandfather Cecil Warren Beal and grandmother Mabel Taylor Beal. George R Beal's family Bible lists a John C Beal, the 1860 or 1870 Census lists a John C Beal as living with George R Beal in Monroe Twp Guernsey Co Ohio. My mother has told me that Clyde Beal was a photographer who had a studio in Dallas TX. Does he match up with your John Clyde Beal?

I'm certain that this is the same family. John Clyde Beal was married to Victoria Elliott and the only child I know of right now is John Clyde Beal Jr.

I don't have any information on John Clyde Beal Sr. No birth, death, and don't have parents or siblings. I do know he was a photographer in Dallas. I can fill in the descendents if you are interested. If you have information on him and his family, and ancestors I would be very interested. I am also quite interested in the photos you mentioned. Is there anyway I could get copies, or scanned images?

For data, I am using The Master Genealogist so can read most file formats. I've imported FTM files directly with no problem.

I look forward to exchanging information with you.

Thanks,
Darrel Monroe

Sorry I haven't responded sooner. I haven't been on here in a while, and didn't get a notice that anyone had replied to my original message till someone else just did.

Anyway. I don't have specific dates on John Clyde Beal Sr. He was married to Victoria Elliott, b. 13 Feb 1900. They had one son that I know of, John Clyde Beal Jr, b. 24 Aug 1921. I don't have any sibling or parent information on John Clyde Beal Sr. I have been told he may have been raised by relatives, probably in Ohio. He also was a photographer in Dallas. Does any of this make a connection to any information you have?

Thanks,
Darrel Monroe

Great, my email is hawksblack@worldnet.att.net . If John Clyde and my John C. are the same person then I have information going back to 1716.
