I had a relative - Jonathan "Jot" Nelson - who lived in Inidana. I thought that some of his descendants lived in Racine. Any connection?

I had relatives in Racine, as far back as 1880. Their names were Fred and Barbara Nelson from Sweden. They had a daughter Anna (my g-grandmother). Anna married George Andrew Jensen About 1885 and moved to Nebraska. Any connection?

Not the same Fred. My Fred was born 1880 in Sweden. In 1920 and 1921 he lived in Portsmouth, Ohio. He married Josephine Mullins Houston in Portsmouth in 1919.

Some names would help...I am looking for my Great Grandparents, Albert and Olivia Nelson, children, Emil O., Matt, Helmer(my grandfather), Nellie, Gertie. Albert immigrated here from Norway, 1891 and his wife in 1892.
Any info would be appreciated.

John Jot Nelson was my Great Grandfather. I made many long walks as a kid with him and listened to stories of life in kentucky in the early 1900's.

I lean on those memories to serve me in storytelling.

Would you like to know more?

Yes, think stories told have as much significance as descendants. Would love to hear them.
