Jane Otoole, born VA, 1818, married to James Huestis in 1848 in Penfield, Monroe county, NY. Settled in Lenawee County Michigan in 1850 died l863 in Michigan. It is believed that she had family relatives located in the Rochester, Penfield area prior to her move to this area.

Are you the same person who posted the message pasted below on rootsweb in 1997? If yes, I'm part of the Huestis line and found an 1887 letter from Lillie Huestis (in Northfield) to her new nephew Ole neither of whom I can place. My grandmother was Ethel Huestis, her dad was Llewellyn, and his mother and dad were Lot and Eliza, and all I have so far is a son Mark and another James E. Thanks, Wendy
