Ordinarily, I thrive on "brickwalls"! This, is something else! She is found on at least seven family trees yet none documents her "complete" history. Do you have an estimated date of her marriage to William Gilmore? Most family trees estimate the event took place prior to 1910. That's not supported by census records. View 1910 Coleman-Precinct 3-District 136-Image 4 to find: Charles E. Page(30), Etta Page(27), Mary Townsend(17), George M. Kilpatrick(25), and Maud Kilpatrict(25). No doubt you are aware George and Etta Kilpatrick were siblings? This is a "stretch"! In 1920 Kent-Precinct 7-District 150-Image 18, find Charles E. Page(41), Henretta[sic](38), Ivy(7), and Hazle[sic](3 7/12). No way I can prove they were the same couple from 1910 Coleman County! Fast-forward to 1930 Tarrant-Fort Worth-District 78-Image 71 to find William S. Gilmore(56) and Etta(46). It's confusing and I don't know how to straighten it out! Etta's death certificate is viewable online at http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#start It was witnessed by her sister Alyce [took I while for me to decipher that signature] who also witnessed their mom's (31 Jul 1849 - 23 Jul 1934). Alyce Erath Kilpatrick (7 Mar 1880 - 14 Nov 1961) never married. Like Etta, she was a chiropractor. Don't know where you go from here?

She was married to J.L. McBride and was living in Ozona, Texas as late as 1912. They had at least one daughter who was sickly. McBride ran a barber shop in Ozona. I believe he was not thrilled that her brother was notorious Outlaw Ben Kilpatrick. I don't know what happened to McBride or where she met/married Gilmore.

Checking my records - She married J.L. McBride on July 5, 1908. Tom Green County Marriage Records 1908 - Are you related to the Gilmore's?

Not related to any surname! I had found the 1910 Pecos-Precinct 3-District 196-Image 4 and 1920 Tom Green-Precinct 5-District 206-Image 4 census. Guess I was too caught-up in trying to connect her and Billy Gilmore? So, her daughter was Erath McBride? Is that the same person on Texas' Birth Index listed as Kate Erath/Erath Kate? How do we explain the 1910 Coleman County census with George M. Kilpatrick listed as brother-in-law and wife Maud listed as sister-in-law?

Her father's name was George W. Kilpatrick and she had a brother named George M. Kilpatrick (Willie 1870, Daniel Boone 1873, Benjamin Arnold 1874, Ed, George, 1876, Ed 1877, Alyce 1880, Etta Jan 1882, Felix 1883, Ola 1884. She can be found along with them some of them on the Concho County 1900 Census. I think she should be on the 1910 Crockett County Texas Census. As mentioned she married J.L. McBride in 1908 (Ozona, Crockett County). Daughter's name was Erath. Was gravely ill for a time (1911 - 1912). Do you have any info on Erath?

RE: Erath. Texas Birth Index has one child born in Presidio County and one born in Tarrant County to John Lewis/Louis Boone and Erath Kate/Kate Erath McBride. Methinks she might be the right person 'cause Etta was in 1930 Tarrant County. Yes, I have the family's census records including 1880 Coleman-Precinct 11-District 45-Image 1. One of the "best-of-the-lot" family trees is "Ellen Kilpatrick Family" owned by ejkilpatrick. View at http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/4908380/person/-1525086589 That 1910 Coleman County census is ......? George Manon Kilpatrick (7 Mar 1884 - 12 Feb 1959) married Maude G. Webb (2 Jan 1885 - 8 Mar 1962). Both died in San Patricio County. Their son, Tweet George Kilpatrick (27 Mar 1914 - 2 Sep 1989), did not know his paternal grandparents' names? Still unable to explain the relationship between George Kilpatrick and Charles E. Page! James L. McBride(30), Etta(28), and Erath(1) are found in 1910 Pecos-Precinct 3-District 196-Image 4.

FYI! James Leslie McBride registered for WWI Draft in Val Verde County. Date of birth was 23 Aug 1879 and daughter Erath of San Antonio listed as next of kin. Birthdate is consistent with death certificate (23 Aug 1879 - 27 Jun 1944) witnessed by his second wife. You can view certificate at http://fsbeta.familysearch.org/ Guessing Erath McBride shared her aunt Alyce's middle name? Trusting you'll share family history with your kin? Constable Daniel Boone Kilpatrick died 9 Dec 1958 in Pecos County. His son, Wright H., witnessed death certificate but failed to include grandparents' names.

George Manon and Maud Kilpatrick are my uncle and aunt. I have some information that might help with your search. My information is that (Henrietta's) Etta's first husband is Charles Edd Page and second husband is Calvin Green.
Let me know if I can help.

Taking a "fresh" look at the original request. Etta (Henrietta) must have had "extra powers"? No way one person could have been in so many places during the same era!(lol) She was in 1910 Pecos-Precinct 3-District 0196-Image 4 married to James L. McBride(30) with daughter Erath K.(1). The same mom/daughter found 1920 Tom Green-Precinct 5-206-Image 4 with sis/aunt Allice Kilpatrick(39). That confirms the Kilpatrick-lineage. But, there's 1910 Coleman-Precinct 3-District 136-Image 4 with Charles E. Page(30) and Etta(27). Also in that household was George M. Kilpatrick(25) and wife Maud(25). George enumerated as brother-in-law so that denotes his sister was married to Charles Page. Oh well! Erath Kate McBride/John Lewis Boone have two births listed on the database. In turn, there are birth registrations for their grandchildren in Tarrant County. SSDI: John Boone (22 Nov 1908 - 29 Apr 1982) and Kate M. Boone (1 Apr 1909 - 18 Aug 1992).
