I am searching for individuals from the Leffler, O'Brien and Carnes families who migrated to Fort Scott, Kansas from Ohio roughly around the year 1900. Sarah Carnes was first married to a Leffler then John O'Brien. Leffler children included Cleve, Leonard, Merle and Grace Jane who wed Oscar S. Stephens on 18 May 1919 in Fort Scott. One Mamie, married name Wright, also ties in and may have been one of the Leffler children.

I have some old photographs I strongly suspect are from the Leffler line and possibly other lines mentioned above.

Could Sarah Carnes have been married to O'Brien first? I did find a Sarah O'Brien on the 1880 Census of Chilliothe, Ross, Ohio who was a widow with 1 child (Mary - age 2)- this Sarah was born about 1848 according to the census -then Sarah was supposed to have married Solomon Leffler in 1886 - cannot find any of them on the 1900 census
I would be interested in seeing the Leffler pictures since my line is Leffler
