Moak Blackburn, 83, of Eddyville, died Friday, Aug. 19, 2005, at 4:48 a.m. at River’s Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa, following a long illness.
A homemaker and member of the Lutheran faith, she was born March 17, 1921, in
Lyon County, a daughter of the late Leo and Francis Sodden
Berry.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank
Moak Sr., and her second husband, William
Blackburn.
Survivors include a son, Frank
Moak Jr. of Chicago, Ill.; a daughter, Sharon
Richmond of Vienna, Mo.; a grandson,
Colin Cook; three granddaughters, Kimberly
Moak, Kristian
Buckley and Carrie Moak; and a brother, William
Berry of
Langley, Okla.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in
Princeton.
The Rev. Ronnie
Fox will officiate the service for Mrs. Blackburn.
Burial will follow in Jane
Nichols Cemetery. (
Caldwell Co., Ky.)
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
