I recently began searching for my relatives from St. Vincent/Grenada and the US. I came across a DeFreitas Dabreo connection. Leonard DeFreitas, son of Emanuel and Rosalie, married Laurel Dabreo. Both were born in St. Vincent but Laurel moved to Grenada then to the USA. My paternal grandfather's name was Leonard Da Breo. I cant seem to make the connection between him and the parents, grandparents of Laurel. Laurel's parents were Anthony Dabreo and Emily Cheeseman of St.Vincent. Anthony's parents were John and Mary Dabreo, who migrated from Portugal. I would love to fill in the blanks and to get in contact with my relatives.

Leonard is my Grand Uncle. His brother was my Grandfather John T. DeFreitas. He also had several sisters. I know for sure that one was Gladys and one was Irene. I would like to know any information you might have about Emanuel DeFreitas and Rosalie Pereira since I haven't found that yet myself. I'm fairly new at doing genealogy research.

I dont have any information, other than names, for Emanuel or Rosalie. I looked up dabreo and came across DeFreitas. One Laurel Dabreo married Leonard DeFreitas. One of their sons was Leonard. Other siblings were listed as living, no names were given. I am almost sure that I am related to the DeFreitas family but I am lacking some key informtion. I cant seem to connect my grandfather, Leonard DaBreo, to Laurel other than that they were both born in St.Vincent and my gut feeling. In fact, both of us may be related. If you have any more question feel free to ask. I will be happy to help if I can.
