I am looking for an obit for Scott D. Zeeck who died on May 6, 1976 in Huron. Also, to see if he is buried in Beadle County, which I am almost positive that he is.

I have no record of Scott's burial in Beadle Co. Any parents/relatives names? There are ZEECK in Immanual Lutheran (Belle Prairie Twp) and Restlawn (Huron) and ZEEK in Riverside (Huron

Scott's parents were Myron and Zona Zeeck. Social security records show that he died in Huron. Maybe he was cremated or something.

Do you have Dorothy Sargent's email? She was doing some work on for the Zeeck's at one time. I think the email address I have is old. I tried to email her a few months ago, but it was returned.

You responded to an email on Zeeck burials in Huron. You referred me on to Dorothy Sargent. She was ill at that time. Do you think it is a good time to email her now??

I am looking for another burial, this time for a Zeeck in Immanuel Lutheran. Would be a daughter of Paul and Stella Zeeck, born sometime between 1923 and 1930.

Scott ZEECK did die in Huron in 6 May 1995, not 1975; he is buried in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, rural Iroquois, SD. I have his obit.

Re:female ZEECK d. 1923-1930:
There is no tombstone in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Also, there was no index card for a burial in the Register of Deeds burial index (based on WPA Graves Registration Project for deaths before 1942). However, Ancestry's SD Deaths 1905-1955 database has an unknown ZEEK who died 1 Feb 1925 in Beadle Co.

My great grandmother is a sister to Paul Zeeck m. to Stell Kief b. abt 1903 in Iowa, I have no death info. My ggrandmother is Emma Zeeck, she married Edward Kludt, her sister Elsie m. Edward's brother Robert Kludt. I would love to share info, I have a photo of their parents Carl & Julia.

Also, where would I go to get a copy of that obit on the unknown death in 1925 for the Zeek? Sounds close enough to be a possibility.

I can do both; please contact me privately. I doubt, however, there will be anything for an infant death in 1925. There's a very slim possibility of finding a one or two sentence. For the 1925 death the death certificate would probably have more information ($10).
