Looking for info on a Henry Sloat b. abt.1750 married a Charity Lounsbury b. abt.1771 she was born in Carmel her father was John Lounsbury. they moved to Schoharie Co. 1790s. Does anyone have info on Henry Sloats Family.

My husbands line of Pratt's were from Otsego co Ny and Saybrook CT. My daughter has a great deal of PRatt info.

I just received information about a Rev. John Sloat (Putnam County) of Carmel who died on March 18, 1859 at the age of 72. He was married to an Eliza ____ who apparently died in 1869 leaving money and/or property to neces Elizabeth Ann Getler, Lucinda Tompkins (possibly connected to my family), and then Eliza Ganung, Hester Ann Ganong, Euphemia Ganong, John Boyd, Henrietta Warren, Sarah Hart and John Hart, grandchildren of her husband. Eliza was his 2nd wife. Also mentioned are Phebe and Sally Slawson (Slauson), William Taylor, Ambrose Ryder, and David Lockwood. Hope this is useful.

John Rider/Ryder Jr. (1714-1774) was supposedly a large land-owner in Putnum Co. Looking for any family information, particularly source confirmation that Susannah Rider (b: 20 Sept. 1753 in SE, NY, d: 19 Feb. 1838, Dorset, VT) was daughter of John Rider Jr. She married Capt. I am looking for the parents of a Bertha Bathiah Rider who married Christopher Townsend in 1793 in Dutchess County (now Putnam Co.). Is it possible that Bertha is a sister to Savannah? I am also looking for Bertha's birth date. Any information would be appreciated.

I have data on a Rebecca Ryder b 5 Dec 1706 in Yarmouth Barnstable Co, MA Died 19 Dec 1759 Dutchess Co (putnam). Married to Thomas Gage b abt 1700 in Yarmouth .D bef 1790 Dutchess Co. Married on 13 Oct 1726 in Yarmouth. Their child (my line) is Ebenezer b 9 Aug 1734 in Barstable Co M 1760 unknown D DeRuyter Madison Co 25 Apr 1803. Rebecca Ryder was daughter of John Ryder of Barstable M. to Patience (Elwell).
