Known child is Johann Friedrich Christian Schambow b 4-23-1801 d 4-25-1867 both Germany married 5-21-1824 at Muhlen -Eichsen to Sophia Margarete Wiese b 4-24-1798 Rutting, died 5-7-1860 Rutting dau of Hinrich Wiese & Christine KUSSOW. No known information on Sophia's parents or family members.

Their three sons of Johna Fruedrich Christian SCHAMBOW
can to Platteville, Wis USA . A brother and sister died in Germany, However a sister named Sophia Maria Dorothea
SCHAMBOW b 5-18-1823 , I don't know if she married or
died.

I have found additional infromation on Peter Schambow also listed as Peter CHAMBEAU he was born April 10 1764 no sure where but married on Nov 12, 1790 in Shartstorf to Anna Elizabeth Sienel 1771-March 31, 1816,
I found six children using CHAMBEAU/SCHAMBOW IN LDS church records, Maria Sophia Elizabeth b 5-20-1791, Anna Magaretha Dorothea b 7-19-1793, Catarina Elizabeth Maria b 9-15-1796, Jochen Hartwig Johann b 2-16-1799,Catherine Sophia Dorothea b 4-23-1804 d 5-23-1817 and my line Johann Christian Frederick b 4-23-1801
after his wife died he remarried on Oct 2, 1818 to Anna Sophia Dorothea Dreves. Peter died in Dec 27, 1826 in a tragic fire of his home.

the family of Shambo's I am researching immigrated in 1866 to Platteville, Wisconsin. Fred b 1835 and wife Maria b 1837 and at least 2 children all came from Mecklenberg. Child 1 Joseph-or joachim theodore Ludwig b feb 1862 child 2 mary about 1865--do you have any decend. info for the male child of peter? i think he would be of the right age to be a father for my fred- unless he was already here in plateville, wis as a teenager.
