My g-grandfather, Zina (aka William, Bill) BRAINARD/ERD was buried in Hissong, Fayette Co.,IL., in 1903. I am looking for cemeteries where he may be buried. And why he was in Hissong, he had settled in MI and left the state after the death of his wife, Ida Mae AUSTIN, he left children behind.
Maybe looking for work or visiting relatives in the area?

Hi - I am searching for names of my g grandfather and my gg grandfathers names. My grandfather lived and died in Fulton co. ILL. His name was Charles Brainard. died in 1953. Tells my father his father left him on the bank of a river. ILL. river they think. My gg grandfather supposedly was a wealthy wagon maker around Quincy, ILL. Any help would be great.
