All that I have is very little on David Brumley who married Elizabeth Scott. My g-g-Aunt. If they lived in Marion Co.,Al. you might try the census. They have 1850,1860,1870 and 1880 on line. Lloyd Carter

He had a son William Andrew Brumley, married to Bessie Handley, who are my grandparents.

i saw in the marion county querys that you were seeking info
on the brumly line. i can,t help you there, but let me tell you a story that has been handed down through the wiginton family. both familys lived in the greenville, s.c. area. a wiginton boy started seeing a brumly girl. one thing led to another and the girl was in the family way. the brumly men killed the wig. boy. the wig. men killed several of the brumly men. a mountain fued was started. sniping echo through the hills. one night the wig. men burned the brumly house down, killing everyone within. almost the next day the wig. families disappeared from this area and the next record we have of them is in tn. in 1812. have you ever heard this? whether it is true or not, it makes for a good yarn. randy wiginton

Have not found any more on the brumley family. I have found more Brumleys in Marion County AL. Cemteries but have not connected any of them with mine.
