Billy Craig, Thank you! please e-mail me at
pfabionar@yahoo.com.....You mention the
Kansas area of
Green County Arkansas..Would that be a town?
This is great information. My male line DNA is uploaded to the JohnWall.com site under
Mack Wall.
My known ancestor is the MArk Wall (John Mark Wall), and like you said his parents are from
North Carolina.
We are looking at this connection, due to the dna results: In any event it seems now that there is a clear line, from Joseph Wall (
Surry VA.) to son James to son John as husband of Sarah Wall (see will of Sarah and John of Halifax/Edgecombe). Not totally proven that John son of James is the same John who bought land in
Edgecombe, but seems almost certain. This land finally is sold by Jesse, son of John, son of Sarah. Question now about John Wall and Sarah's son Henry: There was a Mark Wall buying land in 1770. Any chance he is Mark Henry? Or he may be son of Henry, along with William, John etc. (the extra
Walls in
Wake Co., that do not appear to be sons of Arthur, Arthur is son of Sarah) John could either be the one who married
Scarborough, or the one who went to
Wythe Co. I think the latter, and the William who said he was distantly related to John, seems most likely to be through Joseph's son, John. Thanks to Lee
Bain for his research here...from Paula Fabionar
