I made a copy of my grandfather's obituary from the April 2, 1981 Herald Advocate. The same page has the obituary of MITCHELL T PREVATT.

"Mitchell Thomas PREVATT, 86, of Wauchula died March 30 in the Walker Memorial Hospital in Avon Park. Prevatt was born on October 14, 1894, in Bradford County but was a resident of this area for 65 years. He was a police officer. He is survived by several nieces and nepehws. Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Curry Raley Funeral Home Wednesday, April 1, with the Rev. Harrison Conley officiating. Burial services followed at the Wauchula Cemetery."

Doyle; There are Prevatt's buried in Hardee Co. Fl in Bowling Green. My grandmother Colianne Prevatt Mosley is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Ft. Meade, Polk Co. Fl. What is you mothers name? Looking for a Sally L. Prevatt might be from Mcclenney Baker county Fla.I think she married a Isaac Ganey From that same town. I am try ing to get chruch records from temple seal. My aunt Ethel went and had them sealed.

I am interested in any information that you might have regarding my grandfather, James F. Prevatt, (son of Daniel Abraham Prevatt), his wife was Frances V. Prevatt. I don't have "source" material of his death and I don't know who she married after 1910. She was listed in the 1910 Census as a widow and with the four boys, including my father Willie Prevatt.
