I am looking for the family of LORINDA CLAWSON,she married WILLIAM TAYLOR on JULY 29,1847 in Randolph CountyDoes anyone have ANY info on either of these two people?? Would like to know who the rest of her family was,and if William had any other family in Randolph County...Thanks Lori

Lori - The 1850 census has "Lorinda" as "Lavina", and the Taylors are right next to Garrett and Edith Clawson - indicating that Lavina was one of three Clawson women in the 1840 census who were out of the house by the time of the 1850 census. I'd happily exchange info with you on this.

We believe Thomas Welch married a Mary Clawson possibly from Montgomery County, Ohio. They came to Randolph County in 1837.
