I am sorry that I have so little information but my ggrandmother was a Harmon from PA. My information was that they were from Lancaster Co, but I can not confirm this. Her name was Susanne and she married a Simon Peter Tucker. They apparently wenth through Ohio and ended up in Wisconsin, Prairie Farm in Barron Co. They had numerous children of which my grandfather Edwin was one. In her obit it stated that she had taken care of her mother, they called Grandmother Harmony in the paper. This person apparently died at the age of 116. Since there are usually no long obits on women of that time, I did not find any information. My mother is now almost 90 and really doesn't remember her great-grandmother. But she does remember being told that we were of native american heritage, but she did not know which one. One of my uncles looked very much native american and so did my great-grandmother Susanne.

Any info would be appreciated...

My grandfather was also Edwin Harmon and lived in Lancaster County, PA. He claimed to be part Native American of the Seneca tribe, but it came through his grandmother's side. He was born 8-31-1884 and died 2-12-1973. I know that his father was Winfield Scott Harmon (3-5-1855 to 8-15-1935)and his grandfather was Jerome L. Harmon (1836-1912) Winfield Harmon's sisters were Emily and Stella. I wonder if your grandfather and mine were related somehow.

Are you still researching this person? I am currently working on the Harmon / Harmony people in Wisconsin as my g g grandmother was Eliza Harmony (1839-1914) dau of Samuel Harmony (1816-1850). I have run across your Susanna Harmon(y)Tucker and believe her to be related to me in some way. I would be interested in comparing notes.
