I'm trying to find information on James Elbert Shelton. Who are hs parents, siblings, etc. I have been tracing my family for some time now. The following is what I have already collected.

James Elbert Shelton was born abt 1860 in Tn. I know is parents were from Tn. He married Emily M. Wilcox abt 1883 in Equality, Miller Co., Mo. Emilywas born abt 1860 in Mo. I found James Elbert in the Miller CoMoo. census in 1880. They had four children.

James Everett Shelton born 2-26-1884 in Bagnell, Miller Co., Mo.
Christy Shelton born abt 1886
Lola Shelton born abt 1888
Ethel Shelton born abt 1890

James Everett married (1) Ethel Dobson 6-06-1906 in Miller Co., Mo. from this marriage there was three children.

Richard Auston born 6-28-1907 Miller Co. Mo.
Lorraine born abt 9-17-1913 Miller Co., Mo.
James Howard born 8-16-1914 Miller Co., Mo.

James Everett married (2) Ella Eunice Brown abt 1917 in Mo. Ella was born 5-05-1897 in Tuscumbia, Miller Co., Mo. was the daughter of Aurther Brown and Sarah Williams.

James Everett and Ella Eunice had Two Children.

Lucille Ella born 10-22-1918 in Tuscombia, Miller Co., Mo.
Lee Everett born 7-28-1921in Henley, Cole Co., Mo.

Found James Everett and Ethel Dobson and Richard A. in the 1910 census in Equality Twp. Miller Co., Mo.

I have been told there was four Shelton families in Miller Co. but none of them were related. I can not believe this. There has to be a connection somewhere.

I am looking for information on James Elbert Shelton.
I have found the following information:
He married Emilie Minerva Wilcox about 1882. Emily was born Feb. 25, 1864 in Glaize Township, Miller County. They had four children, James Everett Shelton born Feb. 26, 1884, Cressy (?) about 1886, Lola 1888 and Ethel, born in 1890. Emily died in March 1893. James married Lola Ethel Dobson in 1906. They had a son Richard Austin, born 6/28/1907, daughter Ethel Lorrain, born in 1911 and James Howard, born 8/16/1914. Lola Ethel Shelton died in 1915 at the age of 28. James Everett married Ella Eunice Brown and they had 2 children, Lucille Ella and a son, Lee Everett.
I am also looking for information on Lola Ethel Dobson and Duskey Dobson of Miller County, MO. Any help would appreciated.

I have the Dobson history and old family pictures of Ethel and Loduska. There was another child named Destia Lee. They were cousins to my mother. I have lots of information and photos of this family. Email me direct if you would like.
