Hi everyone, I'm hoping that someone can help me. I am looking for any info on the following. Octave Fredrick Pelletier, married Josephine Arseneau on Aug. 21, 1885. Together, they had 3 children that I know of. They were, Rose Anna, b. Jan. 29, 1889, Marie Relia, b. March 25, 1897, (and she is STILL living at the age of 104 yrs.), and George, no date. Octave was killed in a hunting accident on Manitoulin Island, and is buried in Little Current. Rose Anna, was my Grandmother. I have a Certificate Of Baptism from the Holy Cross Parish at Wikwemikong for Rose Anna, but, I don't know where she was born. Also, Rose Anna, married William Cote. William's parents were Joseph Cote and Delina Ferguson. I was told that Joseph was a Police Officer on the Island. Joseph's children were, Jane, Hilda, Mae, Rose, Joseph, William, Art, Jack, and Alexander. Joseph, Delina and Hilda are buried in the Little Current Cemetery just on the outskirts of town. If anyone, has ANY info on these people, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. Thank you in advance.

I have just read your message on ancestry.ca and although it is an old one I am going to try to make contact. My great grandmother was Eveline Arsenault (Josephine's sister).Their parents were Louis Arsenault and Delina Thibault of Quebec. I too called the Wikwemikong mission and they had no marriage records. I have since contacted the Jesuit archiver hoping they might find them.In 1881 Canadian census records the Arsenaults were still living in Rimouski,Quebec. Would you know if they moved to the Manitoulin and why by 1885?. Hoping to hear from you
Barbara
P.S. In 1905 Josephine married a Frederic Lessard in Massey Ontario
