UK Weekly Family Research and Name Origin

Steve Weekly  (View posts) Posted: 15 Apr 2000 7:26AM GMT
I am embarking on the task of researching my family history, and am specifically looking for any evidence of migration from the UK.

Origin of Surname:

The surname Weekly is a derivative of Weekley, which is a village in Northamptonshire, UK. The village was originally called wicleah, and was first recorded in AD 956. The translation from the Anglo Saxon means Market Place by the Meadow

too am a decendant of a Weekly from England
We have a "family tale" which might tell
