I have found reference to George Kruckman as a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge in Dupree in 1914. I am looking for additional information, as this appears to be a 'lost branch' of the Kruckman tree. There is also mention of a Lottie Kruckman who established the Ziebach County News in 1910. His wife? daughter?

My great-grandfather was George Kruckman a salmon fisher. He had a friend who was named Ernie Woodfield, the foreman of the Barbey Fish Packing Company.

Steven, good morning. Where was George from? I have Kruckman ancestors that were from Wisconsin and Illinois, and then moved to Iowa and Minnesota.
However, there was one branch of Kruckman's that moved out to the west coast, and was lost track of. Is that maybe your branch??

I believe you're referring to my grandfather. He was a seine fisherman and was the foreman of his crew. Although he took his fish to the Columbia River Packing Association (CRPA)and not to Barbey Packing, my Mom said he did have a friend named Ernie Woodfield. I was very close to my grandparents, stayed with them for a week during my summers, etc. He has two living daughters.
