I am finishing a book about Diamond City , Montana Gulch, and Confederate Gulch this winter ( 2006) and it should be out late spring. It covers much of the early history of one of the richest and wildest towns in the Montana Territory.

Judy, at last after 15 years the book about Diamond City & Confederate Gulch and its people is completed. It will cost $39.95 and would require $6 in postage & handling . The book ended up being 352 pages with 16 pages of pictures and a couple pages of maps. It's an 8 by 11 size book so it's a BIG one. You'd need to send a check made out to Hidden Hollow Hideaway Cattle & Guest Ranch, Box 233, Townsend, Mt. 59644 if you're interested and make sure to e-mail me with the mailing address I should send your book to.Best regards . . . I just came across this post from '06 and am interested in this book as my gggrandfather was Elmer Deadmond and I believe he resided in this area. Is the book still available and how could I get a copy of it?
