If there are any other descendants of this line out there, I'm happy to report that I finally found a male Hall cousin to be DNA tested. We know the family came from Virginia, and there are several Hall families with deep roots in Virginia who have been tested. I'm hoping for a match.

Several families came to Illinois from Williamson County to Southern Illinois. Who was Elizabeth's husband and did any of your Halls go into Illinois, particularly Williamson, Franklin, Saline, Wayne and Hamilton Counties. My brick wass is William M. Hall born 1817/1818 IL, married Rebecca Warfiel, 1842 Hamilton County and died 1872 Hamilton County. I know of one sibling, Julieann Hall b. 1823 IL, married Garret Mauding about 1838 in IL.
