I'm researching several Hansford Williams' that I believe are from the same Williams Line.

I have DNA results and another participant has a Hansford Williams in her Y-DNA male descendancy that matches ours. It's looking to me as if many of the men in different generations with the surname or middle name of Hansford are of the same family.

Hoping to share and learn more about these Hansford Williams'.

If he is not the same as yours, there were possibly brothers naming sons Hansford in the same generation?

Hello. Just saw your post concerning the Hansford Williams family. I have done quite a bit of research on the Ramsay/Ramsey family including William Givens Ramsay who married Perlina Williams. I am just now beginning research on the Williams line.

I am a direct descendant of Wm G and Perlina (Williams) Ramsay's daughter, Mariah... her son Charley Bullard was my grandfather.

A Hansford Williams has land records in Fannin Co., TX and previously a Hansford is on Census' in TN near my Gore Family. Will have to pull that to be exact. Clydene
