Info on Washington Danshaw

I am looking for information on my biological grandfather, Washington Danshaw. My sister Joann had made contact with relatives over ten years ago, but unfortunately that contact info was lost with her passing. I am basically starting from scratch. What I do know is that he was a resident of Tamaqua PA, who passed on or about 31 January 1936 in Sunbury, PA. I would like to establish contact with any of his decendants and learn more about him and his family.

Tamaqua, Pa is in Schuylkill county, so you might be better served posting there.

Thanks for the info - that side of my family has been kind of a mystery.

Hi Ken,

Not sure if you had this or not, but I just found a couple articles today about your Washington Danshaw's death. See below...

Were you ever able to reach any living relatives?

Sorry for the delay in replying -

I have located numerous newspapers from all across the country which reported on the wreck. I even found what I believe to be a very good quality video clip of a news report covering the wreck with an eye-witness interview. Unfortunately, there is no audio so I may be looking for someone who can read lips and translate for me. I do not have the newspaper with the photographs you attached, but it appears there may be some similar scenery in the background which would confirn my video clip as being from WD's train wreck.

I myself have been unable to reach any living decendants - my sister did about 18-20 years ago, but that contact info was lost when she passed away in 2001.
