Right, we are some kind of cousins. My info says your grandfather was the son of my great aunt, America Virginia Bevill, who married Theodore McClure. Have you been to their grave sites in the McClure Cemetery in Grayson county?

Hi Carson
I was at my grandparents grave-Floyd and Ethel McClure in Leitchfield in December They are out at Walnut street cemetry or is it Oak?.
My grandfather was the youngest of of the 13 kids i think. About 6 years ago we(the family) went to the family cemetary upon the hill. There was no date of death on Americas tombstone!?!?! Which part of the family are you? I think this is great!!! I live in Cincinnati and my folks are in Cleveland.

America Virginia died 3-14-1931. She was my grandfather, Francis Marion Bevill's half sister. They had the same father, but different mothers. I am also related to Theodore (2nd cousin, three times removed). My email is: cdbevil@webtv.net. I would love to have your grandfather's children birth and dates.

What would you like to know about Elisha? I am following this line through James Jediah, who was my husband's grandfather. James Jediah was Thomas' brother. My husband was the son of James' son, Chester Lewis, born 2-7-1907 to James' 2nd wife, Maggie McCabe. I just started working on family history, so have not had a chance to visit Leitchfield yet for research purposes. I have been there for a couple of funerals before genealogy really mattered.
