I've lost the GEDCOM of one of my WC databases. Also forgot
my username and password to recover the GED. How do I find the username and password? Thanks

wondering if you have had any luck. I had two seperate trees on WC. I has able to link one to my ancestry account, but it cant find the other one although it is clearly there on WC. When I click "forgot password" they send me an email that does not contain a password, and I KNOW I am using the right password anyway. When I email technical support, they wont answer!

My problem was solved, but I don'remember how! Usually you'll see a response on a solved problem. Try you posting your question as a new question.

If you uploaded your GEDCOM to WorldConnect at RootsWeb, then you retrieve your password from RootsWeb --

Randy,

I do not believe it has been deleted. It is still visible if I search for individuals in the tree. The tree's name is "chadstree" and it shows with my email address ejadame@aol.com. but it will not let me link it to my account.

Jeannie

The file is certainly there. It will not let you link the tree to your myaccount page? I wonder if it is linked to an old user name.
