I am sorry I have no info on FRED but I was woundering if he was connected with the DODSONS that lived in Joy
Illinois
in the 1870-80 -90's ?

Yes, my Dodsons lived in Joy, and near Oquawka before that. Jonathan
Dodson
died in Joy in 1912 and is buried in Peniel (sp?) Cemetery. I believe his father was B.S. Dodson, who moved from
Henderson County
,
Illinois
to
Cedar County
,
Iowa
. Do you have
Dodson
connections?
