I am looking for further information on the following family.
Alexander Methven b. Aug. 8,1775 in Stirling md.
Jane Cherry b. Jan.11,1772 (assumed in Stirling)
issue:
Jannet b. June 11, 1800
Alexander b. Mar. 14, 1802
Marion b. Nov. 20, 1803
Thomas same as above(misprint or twins)
John b. Jan.30,1809
Margaret Feb. 6, 1811
Ann b. Mar. 6, 1813
Alexander b. June 10, 1816

Jane Cherry's parents MAY HAVE BEEN Thomas Cherry and Marion Gillis but I do hot have documented evidence to prove this. Does anyone out there have further information about this family? I would, of course, be very appreciative of any help. Thanks, Linda J. Fleming momkkbj@aol.com

I am looking for the Cherrie/Cherry/Chirrey etc family who lived in Stirlingshire.
I have a number on my family tree in particular a John Cherrie who married an Elizabeth Dun.
Also there is William Cherrie the son who married an Agnes Neil (or Niel).
My great great grandmother was Helen Cherrie born about 1815 in Denny. Her siblings were John James, Katharin, Agnes, Elizabeth, Janet, David, Mary, William.
Has anyone got any info that could help me please.
