The Army Air Corps Historical Record of my late father-in-law, James Gordon Stewart's unit, the 7th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (Floating) is available along with some pictures of the ship and personnel. They were in the western Pacific, including Guam and Tinian in late 1944 and 1945 as part of Project Ivory Soap--a joint Merchant Marine, Army Air Corps effort. The Air Corp Personnel included:
