Searching for info on Adolphus Eugene JONES (31 May 1854 MS--19 Oct 1920 LA) m. Mary Ellen HODGES (29 Jan 1863 LA--08 Feb 1931 LA). Both are buried in the Old Amite Baptist Church Cemetery. Both listed on the 1900, 1910, and 1920 Livingston Parish census.

I have some relatives named Jones that are buried in the Old Amite Cemetery, but don't find Adolphus. I would bet they are tied together somehow.

I think my ex-husband is Adolpheus's grandson. If he had a child named Rudolph B Jones. My ex-husbands name is also Rudolph B Jones (Jr). We have 7 children. Although we are divorced, I still want my kids to know who their family members are. If you find any information I would really appreciate it! I understand their was a family fued of some kind and a bunch didnt speak to each other...so my ex knew very little about his father's family. I do know that Mr Rudolph had a brother named Sammy that lived in Denham until he died.
