My name is John Fieser ( JohnFieser@aol.com), and I have a connection to the Ceperlys. Information I have back to the early 1800s is that my g-g-g-grandfather, Cornelius Ceperly, was born in 1839. He had a sister named Clara born in 1838. Their mother was named Dolly, born around 1793-94, and their father may have been Barnard Ceperly, but I'm not sure. I am collecting information from Cornelius to the present, but info prior to Cornelius from New York may prove more of a challenge for me, since I'm in the Chicago area. He moved to Chicago with his mother and possibly some other siblings in the mid-1800s, but I believe that some siblings remained in New York. So, what do you have on Ceperlys in the early 1800s?

I am looking for information about the Montgomery familys that were in Otsego Co. early 1800's Caleb, John, Jeremy, John, Asa and Elias, especially Elias and Asa. I do not know their connection to the other Montgomerys, but do know that they moved to Broome County and died there, are buried in Pratt cemetery near Harpursville. Any Connections?

The only information I have is: Jacob Montgomery ( 1849-1907) married Minette (Nettie) Sullivan, daughter of Theodore Sullivan. Per Census, they had 6 children: Arthur, DeWitt, Lynn, Jessie, Walter and a daughter whose name I cannot read on census sheets. Jacob and Nettie are both buried in Milford Cemetary, Milford, Otsego Co., NY, along with some of their children. Sorry I could not be of more help. ( I believe that Jacob was son of John and Margaret, born 1849 in Otego, Otsego Co., NYS, but have no proof as yet)
